To transfer files to our servers from your local
computer you must use an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program.
Many tools
such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage
have FTP capabilities. You can also consider using
a dedicated FTP tool such as WS_FTP (PC) or Fetch (Mac).
When you need to access your files, be sure to use the correct
account name and password. If
your primary web site address is www.mydomain.com, you can
use the FTP server name ftp.mydomain.com. .
Microsoft FrontPage users should be careful when usingprograms other than FrontPage to manage their site.
Updating files outside of FrontPage it may cause your site
to stop working.
